The RAMPS 1.5 Controller Board is an upgraded Arduino MEGA shield that serves as the central hub for your RepRap-style 3D printer, combining motor control, temperature sensing, and power management into a single compact board. Measuring 11.5×6 cm, it fits standard RAMPS enclosures while offering meaningful hardware improvements over the original RAMPS 1.4.

This ramps 1.5 controller ships ready to accept up to five Pololu-compatible stepper driver modules (X, Y, Z, E0, E1), giving you full control over each axis and dual extruders. Three dedicated thermistor circuits let you monitor the hotend and heated bed simultaneously, while a separate 11 A blade fuse protects the bed heater circuit and a 5 A fuse guards the extruder heaters — making blown-fuse diagnosis quick and replacement simple. A built-in LED indicator for the heater circuit gives instant visual confirmation that bed heating is active.
