Notes on adjusting and measuring drive voltage:
Measurement:
Thedrive current must be converted by measuring the drive voltage. For the method of measuring the drive voltage Vref, refer to the following figure to measure the voltage between the knob on the drive and the metal shell (gnd) of the USB interface, which is regarded as Vref. The driving current can be converted by Vref through different driving conversion formulas.
Adjustment:
Vref can be adjusted according to the operation of the motor, and the knob above can be adjusted to drive.
Tips:
When adjusting the potentiometer, it is necessary to adjust the potentiometer with small ampliude. After the measurement, adjust it again to avoid the current being too large and causing the drive to burn out.
(Turn Clockwise to increase drive current – Turn Counterclockwise to reduce drive current)
When the MKS TMC2208 driver is used in the normal mode, please keep the 3 subdivision jumper caps of the motherboard, the pulse is calculated according to 16 subdivisions, and the internal differential method of the chip is automatically extended to 256 subdivisions.
